Head of Sales

Tomorrow is hiring a Head of Sales to meaningfully drive the growth of the business to the next level and thereby accelerate the transition to a zero carbon future. You will be joining a mission-driven team of product and industry experts who have reached product market fit and are ready to scale the business across the globe and to establish a clear leadership profile in the climate-tech industry.

Our mission at Tomorrow is to organise the world’s electricity data to drive tangible reductions in carbon emissions. Our product electricityMap started as a popular open-source project 5 years ago and is now used every day by companies, universities, NGOs, and policy makers around the world to understand and reduce the climate impact of electricity.

The value behind electricityMap is the data - data that shows how electricity is produced and its impact on climate change on an hourly basis across the world. We have a wide variety of clients from large corporations like Google to startups and consumer apps like Barry and Tezlab. Google uses our data to run their servers at the times with the greenest energy. Barry, an electricity provider, integrates our data into their app, empowering consumers to make intelligent decisions about when to use electricity. Tezlab, a companion app for EVs, uses our data to show Tesla owners what kind of energy is powering their vehicles - be it solar, coal or wind. This means you will get to work with the most popular and exciting brands out there, as well as partner with smaller yet pioneering businesses to accelerate the transition to net-zero.

We’re experiencing a rapidly increasing interest for our product and are therefore looking for an experienced head of sales focused on sales & partnerships to harness this windfall and bring Tomorrow to the next level. You will be part of our international team based in Copenhagen.

About the role

Your mission at Tomorrow will be to drive sales and bring Tomorrow to the next commercial level.

What you will do:

  • Define and execute the overarching commercial strategy
  • Refine and adapt the value proposition for different customer segments
  • Define the sales and account management processes
  • Establish the sales culture and manage the sales organization

What you will bring:

  • The entrepreneurial drive and experience to take ownership of realizing the commercial success of the company
  • Hands-on experience in b2b sales and enthusiasm for getting your hands dirty and getting the work done even before there is a supporting team
  • Experience building organizations and managing a b2b sales engine
  • A collaborative attitude and the ability to address all parts of client relationships, from outbound messaging to contract negotiations, pricing and customer success
  • An intrinsic urge to change the world for the better
  • The ability to adapt and work in a rapidly changing environment that is a startup working on climate change

Bonus if you have experience in:

  • Selling data products
  • The electricity domain
